DRAFT — FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW, NOT YET IN EFFECT
Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
CloverBull subscriptions (Trader and Champion plans, monthly or annual) are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles all payment details.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until you cancel. The renewal charge goes to the payment method on file.
Cancel anytime from inside the app: Account → Manage Billing, which opens your Stripe billing portal.
If you have trouble with the portal, email us (Section 9) and we'll cancel it for you.
All subscription fees are non-refundable. This includes monthly and annual plans, renewals, and upgrades. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused features. When you cancel, you simply aren't charged again — your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Instead of refunds, we give you a free 14-day trial with full Champion access at signup — no payment details required — so you can evaluate everything CloverBull offers before paying anything.
The only exceptions:
Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights you have under applicable law (including consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction, such as EU/UK cooling-off rights where they apply). Where the law requires a refund, we provide it.
If you cancel a paid plan, your account automatically moves to the free Scout tier at the end of your billing period. You do not lose your data — your watchlists, portfolio tracker entries, and preferences remain in your account (subject to the account-inactivity and termination provisions of the Terms of Service); you just lose access to paid features until you resubscribe.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full Champion access, starting at signup. No payment details are collected for this trial, and it never converts into a charge — when it ends, your account simply moves to the free Scout tier unless you choose to subscribe. If we ever offer a trial through checkout that requires a payment method, its terms (length, eligibility, when billing starts) will be shown at checkout, and cancelling before the trial ends avoids any charge.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge over the following days and we may email you to update your payment method. If payment still can't be collected, your subscription is canceled and your account downgrades to the free tier (again, no data loss).
If we change subscription prices, we'll give existing subscribers at least [30] days' notice by email before the new price applies to your renewal. If you don't agree with the new price, cancel before renewal and you won't be charged it.
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days (your bank may take a few extra days to post it).
Questions, cancellations, or refund requests: [SUPPORT EMAIL — support@cloverbull.com planned]. Include the email address on your CloverBull account so we can find your subscription.
